Full-Time K-12 Education

enrichcompSM

The full-time educational options – like all of our options – are highlighted by our exclusive one-on-one educational approach for all students attending Kindergarten through 12th grade. It is a truly customized education, individually developed and implemented specifically for your child, that is typically completed in ten to fourteen instructional hours per week supplemented by six hours of supervised study hall.  Typically, our students accomplish their full-time education in three or four days per week, but five days is an option.

All courses are self-paced and customized in order to maximize each student’s learning potential. There are no age or grade requirements to take courses, nor any artificial time constraints for course completions. This means courses can be completed in as few as eight weeks or as many as 36 weeks (one school year) if needed.

Elementary School Education

Specific curriculum choices made early in a child’s development can ensure a better chance for academic success or academic difficulty.  Students in our elementary program will have a curriculum developed around their individual, unique learning needs, styles, abilities, talents, and personality.

We follow a success-based model of instruction in which elementary school students are encouraged to learn at their own pace whether they are below level, on level, or above level in specific subject areas.

  • In the areas in which students might be working below level, we use a variety of comprehensive, related, reinforced learning experiences to provide opportunities for these students to progress at their own pace and to bridge the gaps in their learning.
  • In the areas in which students are working above level, our teachers are trained to compact and enrich curriculum in order to increase the opportunities for more advanced learning without losing the child’s interest.

Middle School Education

In middle school, our students continue to benefit from our exclusive one-on-one instructional model. They are encouraged to work at their own pace as our teachers consistently modify and enrich curriculum for each individual student.

Middle school students are still encouraged to work at their own pace, whether they are below level, on level, or above level in each specific subject area.

Students in middle school are encouraged to take more ownership of their own educational progress. Utilizing instructional and planning techniques from several nationally-recognized college preparatory programs, each child is able to develop higher-level thinking skills. Study hall periods are not simply used for ‘homework’ time; they are enrichment periods in which students are guided to plan and schedule their own educational goals and progress.

High School Education

In high school, our students continue to benefit from our exclusive one-on-one instructional model. With even more opportunities for course choices and enrichment, high school students work at their own pace in each specific subject area.

Students in high school help plan progress goals in their individualized curriculum. Utilizing instructional and planning techniques from several nationally-recognized college preparatory programs, each student is able to develop higher-level thinking skills. Study hall periods are not simply used for ‘homework’ time; they are enrichment periods in which students are guided to plan and schedule their own educational goals and progress. At the high school level, this can mean college or career planning in addition to self-scheduling, depending on each individual student.

Tuition

Investing-in-Education

Tuition is an investment in your child’s future!  Unfortunately, cost plays an important part educating our children. At Bridge Builder Academy, we understand the cost factor and work very hard to maintain the tuition cost as low as possible.

We believe that your child’s education is more important than dollars; however, providing your student with the highest-quality education possible (including individualized curriculum and only using certified teachers) is not without significant cost.

Unlike most schools, we are proud to disclose that over 68% of each tuition dollar that you invest in your child’s future goes directly to our teachers.  We believe that your child is more important that dollars or numbers, and we commit to you that we will always see your family and child as special, wonderful, unique, and amazing.
